Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 12, 2026 Last Updated: May 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Thiago Dutra, doing business as O Menino do Uber ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.omeninodouber.com (the "Site"), purchase any of our products or mentorship services, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Site or Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

O Menino do Uber is an independent educational service operated by Thiago Dutra, based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at:

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with us, you may provide:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and any messages you send us through Instagram, email, or other channels
  • Purchase information: order details that are visible to us through Stan Store (such as which product you bought and the email associated with the order). Stan Store collects and processes the actual payment information; we do not see or store your credit card or banking data.
  • Mentorship content: anything you share with us during a 1:1 mentorship session — including details about your driving situation, vehicle, schedule, location patterns, goals, and questions
  • Email list signups: if you subscribe to receive updates, your email address and any other information you provide at signup

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, and language preference
  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, links clicked, referring website, and date/time of access
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small data files stored on your device that help us recognize you, remember preferences, measure performance, and serve relevant ads

2.3 Information from Third-Party Platforms

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  • Stan Store — order confirmations, customer email addresses, and product purchase data
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — aggregated data about ad performance and audience reach, including when you click on or interact with our ads
  • Google Analytics — aggregated traffic and behavior data about Site visitors

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following tracking technologies on the Site:

3.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _gid) and collects information like IP address, pages viewed, session duration, and traffic sources. This data is aggregated and helps us improve the Site. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3.2 Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to understand which content drives purchases, and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site or to similar audiences. The Meta Pixel may collect information about your browser, device, IP address, and the pages you visit on our Site, and shares this with Meta. You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings and Instagram ad settings.

3.3 Your Choices

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings — you can block, delete, or be alerted when cookies are set. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions. You can also use industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and deliver your purchases (through Stan Store)
  • Provide, schedule, and conduct mentorship sessions
  • Send transactional communications (order confirmations, product delivery, scheduling)
  • Send marketing emails about new products, content, or events (only to people who have opted in — see Section 5)
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Measure and improve the performance of our marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Serve relevant ads to you and similar audiences on Meta and other platforms
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Email Marketing

If you sign up for our email list, we use a third-party email marketing platform to send you updates, tips, product announcements, and event information. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that lets you opt out at any time. After you unsubscribe, you may still receive transactional emails related to purchases or scheduled mentorship sessions.

We do not sell or rent your email address to any third party.

6. Mentorship Session Recordings

1:1 mentorship sessions are conducted by video call.

  • Recordings are not made by default. A session is only recorded when the client agrees in advance, typically at the client's request (for example, so they can review the strategy later).
  • If a session is recorded, the recording is stored on our personal devices or in our private cloud storage. We do not share it with third parties.
  • You may request that a recording you participated in be deleted at any time by emailing thiagoliveiradutra@gmail.com.

If you do not want a session recorded, simply tell us before the call begins.

7. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

7.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party companies that help us run our business. These include:

  • Stan Store — payment processing, product delivery, and order management
  • Email marketing platform — to send our email list communications
  • Google (Analytics) — to understand Site usage
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — to operate our advertising
  • Cloud storage and hosting providers — to host the Site and store business files

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.

7.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, property, or the rights, safety, or property of others.

7.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (for example, by email or notice on the Site) before such a transfer occurs.

7.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information in other ways with your explicit consent.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Purchase records: retained for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance (typically at least 7 years under U.S. tax law)
  • Email list data: retained until you unsubscribe; after unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record (such as your email address on a suppression list) to ensure we don't email you again
  • Mentorship session recordings: retained only as long as needed for the agreed purpose, or until you request deletion
  • Analytics and tracking data: retained according to the policies of Google and Meta

When we no longer need your information, we delete it or anonymize it in a way that prevents reidentification.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information.

9.1 All Users

You can always:

  • Email us at thiagoliveiradutra@gmail.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal exceptions, such as records we must keep for tax purposes)
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email we send you
  • Opt out of cookies through your browser settings or the opt-out tools listed in Section 3

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information, but some uses of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" under California law — you can opt out via the cookie controls in Section 3)
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, email thiagoliveiradutra@gmail.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

9.3 Brazilian Residents (LGPD)

If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Law No. 13.709/2018), including the right to:

  • Confirm the existence of processing of your personal data
  • Access your data
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data
  • Anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary or excessive data
  • Request data portability
  • Delete personal data processed with your consent
  • Information about with whom we share your data

9.4 EU/UK Residents (GDPR)

We do not actively market to or target EU or UK residents, but if you happen to be located there and use the Services, you have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact us at thiagoliveiradutra@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for and not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You provide your information at your own risk.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

12. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may be located in the U.S. or other countries. If you access the Services from outside the U.S. (including from Brazil or other countries), your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to third-party services, including Stan Store and Instagram. This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through links from our Site.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. You can still control tracking through the cookie and opt-out methods described in Section 3.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as by posting a banner on the Site or sending an email to subscribers). Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
